Concept note
We emphasize that, compared to the data from 2023, in 2024 we saw a 20% decrease in the number of people assisted, even though our team expanded in terms of dedication. However, we note that the degree of complexity of the cases was greater than in 2023, requiring the activation and creation of numerous new legal, psychosocial, advocacy, and networking tools. This requirement impacted the increase in the rate of freedoms achieved, as well as the improvement in the quality of social reintegration of those assisted and the breaking of cycles of domestic and intrafamily violence.
One comparative statistic that caught our attention was the small number of people accessing federal government assistance benefits, a reduction of 31.5%.
In 2024, we assisted 20% fewer people compared to 2023, despite the increase in our staff. However, we faced more complex cases, which required the development of new legal and psychosocial tools. This resulted in an increase in freedoms gained and improved social reintegration, as well as contributing to breaking cycles of domestic and intrafamily violence.

"With Maria Felipa's arrival in my life, I renewed my hope of leaving prison and reuniting with my family. The judge predicted a 6-month sentence, but they managed to get me out in just 3 months. Furthermore, I was able to have my son outside of prison. Maria Felipa represents a better life prospect. They work not only inside the prison but also outside, offering constant support. I am very grateful for their work with us!"
